What is your favorite tip?
Truly a great video, lately I have been slowly letting go of photography because life is, well, not the kindest at times. But this video helps me see why I love photography, it reminded me of how much enjoyment there is to it. The one thing I have never figured out is how to price a portrait session, so if you can one day make a video on that, that’d be great. I cannot for my life figure that out
Great tips! I downloaded a Peter Hurley portrait course a few years ago and what he emphasized more than anything is to build that rapport with the client. You want to get genuine reactions, not nervous smiles or forced laughter. I like your tips to chill, take time, take breaks, and get feedback from the client/model. That shot of the ring on the cherry blossom is a great example! I think a successful shoot is a collaboration, not just a photographer barking instructions. Obviously some clients are easier to work with than others, but therein lies the challenge. Thanks for the video!
Very good instructional video, but too complicated for me, that’s why I only photograph alligators, iguanas and birds, they do whatever and I go with the flow🤣
