this behind the scenes photoshoot was so much fun, it included a professional signed male model and a wardrobe stylist. i go over 5 portrait photography tips and tricks that cover everything from framing to manual focus to lens distortion and in-camera tricks on how i shoot through objects to create unique effects. we shot during golden hour and most of the images are backlit. we shot in my favorite seattle neighborhood in ballard, washington!

how beautiful this guy is! Nice video Jessica, thanks. I'm glad I can see that somehow, in a long term, portraits, photoshooting black people can help by showing how f*cking beautiful they are. We can enpower them as we listen, cover and value them. As citizens, we should understand and fight the structures of racism and chauvinism – specially white, male and straight people like me. But our work can bring for black people a little good concepts, softening the semiotics of slavery.

All good but just a tip If you really like Live View then you might want to invest into Mirrorless. Focusing in live view with DSLR is very unreliable.
