Julia, I don't understand why you don't use/add more context to your photos by switching to landscape and stepping away from the subject. Almost all presented images can be taken with a tele lens, retaining the same (little) amount of bokeh around the subject. It is annoying that almost every you tuber took ad-literam the portrait mode and use it extensively and so few contextual portraits are presented – where probably this lens really shines!

Your photos are really beautiful. What do you think about the xt4 with xf50mm f1 that they can kill fullframe such as cannon or sony ?

I just purchased this lens and it is very loud and the display flickers and flashes – I'm assuming this isn't normal?!
Julia, Ive just ordered this lens to upgrade from my 56mm. How did you find the AF on it compared to older lenses?
Did you set the color temperature when shooting?
I came to see if the lens was for me, but the model made it impossible to focus on any technicalities.

I’m still deciding if I’m gonna sell my xf16-55 f2.8 and xf90 f2 just to have xf50 f1.0 I don’t know if it’s worth it 🙁 what do you guys think 🤔 shall I sell it for 1 lens?
superb lens – actually thinking about adding it to my sony wedding kit 😉 (x-t3 is on the way with a 35mm – but this would blow out my sony 85/1.8 out of the water)
