In this video I was testing the canon ef 50mm f/1.8 stm lens with the canon eos m50 camera body. this is sort of a diversion of my style of photography but still it’s good way to challenge myself. I was also comparing the results I got when using the full frame canon 6D with this lens.
The photoshoot was held in a historical shop in Ipoh Old Town , Perak, Malaysia, called the TIN ALLEY. It is a cultural place and a coffee shop with variety of display hand made arts and craft-works.
It was a fun and challenging shoot and I had a mixed feelings of the performance of the lens. if you are contemplating in buying this lens for your canon m50 you may want to watch this video first. But take my personal review with a grain of salt. I suggest you test it out first at the store as I noticed and heard copy variations of this lens.

Absolutely beautiful photography done with the Canon M50 and Canon 50mm lens. Going to try this with my Nikon D5500 and Youngnou 50mm lens
to be honest I didn't like very much the photos, and I think you should take a pictures more close and not take the whole body picture, after all it's called a portrait
