It’s good to see photographers going through creative ruts, and like a batter in baseball, sometimes you just gotta work through it. I’m searching for creativity right now too because I’ve been doing a lot of catalogue shoots (same 3-5 poses for every color, style etc.), which is uninspiring work. Just gotta remind myself to shoot what I want and it’s okay if it doesn’t turn out.

It happens to us all, we really want to do something cool and we know what it is but we just can't quite make it happen. You have a brilliant mind Hayden, just keep doing what you are doing.

Stop saying you haven't been happy, you can't do this, you have been on so many medications, etc. That is the reality but it won't change things. Start being positive and say stuff like "everything is so much better now", "I have been happy" etc.

Nice Video! You ever thaught about switching brands? I can can highly recommend Fujifilm. Their beautiful and so much fun to use, even the older ones! And they come with some FIlm Simultaioons to give you some extra vintage spicyness on your pictures 🌶🔥😍

So good Hayden! These shots are amazing! Honestly that’s my main perspective on Photography. The creative expression that you can make out of it. When imposter syndrome comes in it’s hard to feel in your element and you feel somewhat rushed! But when you give it a moment and allow a positive thought to filter through It shines a different light on the end product. I feel it’s subjective and all about perspective 🌻 Such cool shots 👏

I have the same problem but what I do is (I’m no expert): I focus on the background and place my subject in it. Obviously, it depends on the type of shoot or the vision you have.
