Make sure you are not using a hood for these shoots, you will not get the same glare. I do a fair number of landscapes and do this with the sun. If you bring your f stop to f/22, it will do amazing things. I love the f1/2, but the natural rays you get at f/22 is amazing.

Every shot is my favorite! Do you feel that continuous lighting gives you better control in this type of portrait setting over strobes.
