Fine art portrait photography.

Fine art portrait photography.

The task was to create a portrait that jumps out at you. Not just a face or a figure sat down but something more. Maybe capture an expression or some humour and that’s just what I set about doing for Sony earlier this year. You will see the set up of the lights, how to pose, how to get the right props and how to hold on to those ideas. All this while using the brilliant Sony A7R4 and you will see why their auto eye tracking is superb!

Just seeing this for the first time this evening Ian, I find it very inspiring to see how you put an image together and the lengths that you go to to keep the details right. Being a long admirer of your work it has opened up more angles for me to aspire to… the more you do in camera the more satisfying your finished item would be knowing that you have put it together rather than faking the image totally. Could be a new direction for me in the future… Thank you for sharing this mate… I hope you are both well.

Very nicely done. Cracking job on the studio. Can't wait to see it all 'in person' soon.
    Onwards and upwards mate!

Loved it mate. I do have a big respect for the planning of your work – on my working day, I have to come up with ideas while I’m doing it. Would be nice to try it some time.
The short of it all – I wouldn’t be without Skint Creative – You guys are fantastic.
Say high to Steve, Anthony and Gez for me 👍🏻
