The Camera I use is the 35mm film camera Canon AE-1 and I use the Kodak Color Plus 200 film.
My camera settings were mostly: 1/250 to 1/125 of a second shutter speed, ISO 100- 200 and auto aperture. The Canon AE-1 is a shutter-priority camera, so that’s how I operate it.
I’ve done a lot of portrait photography and street portraits with my digital camera, the X-T3, but in this video, it’s all film photography or analog, so the focus and exposure are what I’m working on.
For my next episode of my ‘Street Photography with Film’ series, I plan on shooting all black and white, with the Acros film.
Film photography is something I’m really getting hooked on and I think it’s perfect for my style of street photography and street portraits.

Do you remember what lens you used at the time for this video? I’m taking my AE-1 with me to my first trip to Mexico City. Was it really as dangerous as they say? Did they try to steal your gear?

Hello frederik, I have a Canon AE1 too and I just want to ask you something. If I put an adapted lens, say a Helios 44/2, how do I utilize the in camera lightmeter? As I understood correct, the lightmeter meters in full aperture in fd lenses, but how to use it in adapted pure manual lenses? I tried to goofled it but cannot find good instructions to it. Hope you can help me, thanks!

the lady at 10:05 exaggerating. People like this treat tourists as if they're morons when I'm sure he's a lot more careful than any of them. Keep doing your thing! if you didn't take the risk, you wouldn't have taken pictures and made memories doing this.

Do you use any filters on the scanned photos ?? The colors look so good.
Awesome videos! I watched the first one and this one and they are helping me a lot on how to use the camera. I have two questions:
1) You said to put 100 ISO instead of 200 on the camera… should I do the same with a black and white 400 iso roll? Or does it work different?
2) You said you expose to the shadows, how do you do that?
