As an artist who started 9 years ago the drawing , here I am learning the basics , because my drawings lack some technique in drawing the face and the features ! I will try this and come back to let you know about my progress !

A lot of comments mention difficulty with circles. If you have problems drawing them freehand try resting the heel of your hand on the page and turning the page with the other hand. I have drawn perfect circles this way and in varied sizes using knuckles, elbow etc as the pivot point!
