Trav, luv you man, but if you suspect you might be whining too much, you’re whining too much. You had some important information but you probably included too much commentary if you’re goal is to focus on art. Thanks for the videos. 👍✍️✍️✍️✍️

Others have commented the same… the lines aren’t enough. Shade takes talent. BTW, drawing with grid assistance actually helped me understand proportion without grid assistance. It was like training wheels. ROCK ON. Enjoy your journey.

I used to draw a lot of anime back in highschool. I loved it. And I just dabbled back into it recently. I've been painting flowers which is new to me and I love it. But going back to anime was like a nice warm blanket for me lol. If that makes sense. I just love to draw and paint whatever makes me happy 😊

This was so good. Awesome trick to get good results fast. Though some will definitely say that was cheating. Lol. But my mind was blown away by the simplicity.

I only care about giving life to my vision so if I need to I'll trace/transfer what I need to get my desired result,I'm not interested in "performing" anymore.

I am an artist, I began making portraits later on in my art journey, and have always been drawing by memory, and when I make portraits out of pictures I cling more to the old school way of drawing it 100% using only observation, which means, I do not believe in these techniques of lining or projecting or whatever, but I have no problem with those who do love to use them, it's just that there should be distinction in categorizing the non lining way and the lining way, and all this according to the purpose of one's art, which means people should be open about it; if you are a fan of making hyperrealistic portraits whatever the means, then you should not compete with those whom the purpose of art is not how hyperrealisitc it is, but how human it is and how human perception and feeling affects what one sees.

I admit that when I find out people who have shown me their "original paintings" reveal that they use transfer techniques and fill in the color. I feel deceived. Creating a painting that way seems more like coloring than creating original artwork.

Interesting video. Enjoyed it a lot. I’m a novice artist watercolour hobby and transfer at moment mostly from my own photos. My sketching is improving and currently sketch on drawing paper and then transfer to watercolour paper with light box.

Wow, this guy is wrong. Why do comics make jokes then? Why do people do things at all? To make others around them happy.

Bob Ross is real skill he don't use grids or this…he just starts wacking his brush and throwing colors on his canvas and in the beginning your like wtf is he doing. At the end of his lesson he created a masterpiece. A real artist

I was really feeling what your were saying at 5:36 man somebody just asked me to draw them and I was like umm I wouldn’t mind but I kinda don’t want too because it’s not my idea and they wanted me to sell my art but I’m like but it’s my art it holds value you to me ya know. I like your concept of what you drew and I love the intro 🔥🔥

It is cheating, the talent isn’t just in the shading, it’s in the whole illustration. It’s better if you can do it all yourself with measurements maybe.
