But, the face of the boat is to the left, and all the story of the boat is to the left why not turn boat to the right if clouds are much better then left??

Cool, I just learnt the name of something I do intuitively.
But in your first example with the boat, to me, the second to last image with the boat in the bottom right is better than the last image with the boat in the bottom left.
This is because the boat is pointing toward the left, so I'd want to have the picture showing what's "ahead" of the boat, even though it's not moving. I think this point would be much more important if the boat were moving.
You touch on a similar point to the one I'm making here, in the second example.
If you think about where the boat is looking – just like you would with a person – then it's obvious where the boat should go.
