What advise would you give for someone starting out that doesn't have people to shoot to get better and build a portfolio? Friends and family don't support the endeavors to shoot anyone to learn because they think I'm wasting my time in a saturated market and Facebook groups for local models has been either no shows, drug addicts who can't follow any instruction or models who think they are worth $200 an hour because they've been published in a fake Instagram magazine.
🥲I really miss my A7II, such a great camera, had it for 5 years, and not one complaint from me about it. Great video, looking forward to seeing more in the future.
More curious than ‘eager’ maybe. 😉
Good info, good video.
….oh, and don't forget Fuji.
After spending $$$$ on cameras, lenses, etc, I end up often getting great photos with an old iPhone. 🙂
You mentioned that you would prioritize buying a used body overa used lens, could you elaborate? 🙂 I'm trying decide what system I wanna invest into and I always thought used lenses were still as good as a new ones
You got a catchy voice for viewers, great video quality and u sound so humble. You may want to speak a little slower although this was accurate but then consider your video would go global. Overall, am a big fan. Ur channel pop up yesterday and I immediately love your video. Thank you very much.
Absolutely correct. Love and support from India😍
Totally agree with gear. Bought my first camera, Sony A6000, 8 months ago used. Took a couple community college courses on photography and Lightroom and honed the fundamentals. Bought some lights, stands and a couple sofboxes, all used, and practiced my lighting. Just bought a used background stand, some new backgrounds and supplies to hand paint a few on my own. Lastly, purchased a Sony A7r III, used of course, to get some practice with before I launch my website for portrait photography. The gear makes the work possible and sometimes easier to get done but the latest and greatest isn't necessary. Oh, and yes, all my glass is used as well. 😊
Gear is important even for beginners
Awesome I love this ❤
Great video Sunny! Especially the part when you said good photos start with the photographer not the camera.
Good video, if you speak a little slower that will be more relaxing for the viewer.
Some great pointers. The algorithm recommended your vid then I noticed you are a SLC photog. Wanted to ask what camera you using to shoot your talking head vid footage? Really clean.
Picking up one today used from B&H as soon as they email me lol going to pair it with the Samyang 35mm great work
Used d810 & up. With sigma 35 1.4
