I don't know why I've never thought of using the interval timer for self-portraits. Really cool idea. And yours turned out soo nice. You may not be a model, but you shoot them so much I think some advice you give and angels you see must have certainly influenced you to get these results.

I'm surprised you shot the lens fully wide open and yet the details in the focus area are super sharp. Also, I would think the bamboo in the background would be much softer focus, but maybe that's my poor interpretation of how far the distance is between the camera, and you and the background, and the focal length setting. Great idea to demonstrate this self portrait style, thanks!
