Apple has just released iOS 10.1 beta to developers. And with this beta iPhone 7 plus got the portrait mode in the camera settings. In this mode the background becomes extra blurry making the object pop up even more. I’ve tested it and compared it to regular photos.
As of now (September 21st 2016) this update is only available for developers. It soon will be available for everyone.

While looking great, this also showcases the limitations as it really doesn't cope well with hair strands. But maybe that's just a beta thing and they manage to improve the algorithm to avoid this.

Actually I'm not hating Apple. Was complementing them. They don't need to be first but the best. Other Android phones tried to implement this bokeh effect and none of them are as good as Apples implementation.

Eminim ki bu yorumlar seni daha çok aşkla, şevkle işini yapmaya itiyordur. Bilesin ki naçizane desteğimiz seninledir.

2012-2013 yıllarında rast geldiğim, yayınladığı o muhteşahane videoları izleyip ağlayacağım.. Şimdikileri de seviyorum elbette ama o soru cevap, ipod torç zamanları bir başkaydı be. Kendisini gizleyişinin de verdiği ayrı bir tat vardı. Neyse daha fazla duygulanmadan gidiyim..

as I expected you can see a contour around the subject where it isn't stiched together perfectly. It's just imitating the effect with putting together two photos after all. The same can be done with one single lense on a phone. But it's close to something a DSLR would shoot I have to admit.
