Oh man – this is just what I needed. I have my first clients in just over a week and I have a really good like (the Bowens GM 750 Pro) but I only have one of them. I'm a bit nervous about it and I've had all the usual "we are not very photogenic" comments at the pre-shoot consultation. So this is just what I needed to get me 4 or 5 keepers. Many thanks for this advice.

Definitely a great video on portrait lighting, however, the models are quite stiff and lack warmth, especially David.

I find my biggest challenge when lighting a couple is keeping them from casting shadows on each other.
I find the best moments happen organically, when they're allowed to move freely and play with each other, but as they move they often tend to throw off the Light.
So difficult.
Your teaching skills are amazing. Thanks for sharing all this knowledge.
Great ideas if the couples are close to the same height. What are your suggestions for a 6 foot guy and a 5 foot woman?
