LEICA Q2 first impressions and a series of portraits. I fell in love with the LEICA Q couple of years ago and now I have decided to buy the LEICA Q2. I am really impressed about the image quality, the colors, the sharpness of the lens, the dynamic range and many more but I will do a more in depth video soon. Does the colour and contrast are natural out from the box or do you work each photos after? Is there in Q2 setting as type of filter on lens as red or contrast and saturation? I have to stop looking your video, more i see more i can't wait to buy the Q2… I 'm using Canon for 30 years and now i want to get a jewel and his simplicity and his discretion …

I’m by no means a photographer, I mean, for a long time I thought, why aren’t the pictures I take on my iPhone as good anymore when all the ads say the camera has improved?? 😅but then I realized (many iPhone generations later) that they made a switch in focal length from 30 to 27 which sounds like well just take a step closer but idk I still didn’t get the pictures I envisioned. Which was good because I started actually using my dslr to get the shots I wanted. But even with the hatred of this focal length I love your pictures! Especially the forest pictures. I think when the background is sort of uniform a 27mm focal length looks really cool and I just wish I had a better eye for framing other types of shots like you do! Awesome job.

I'm happy that you like the Q2. I love my Q. The grip and the strap? Come on. Those "shortcomings" are opportunities for you to buy more toys to use with it. Who uses the included strap anyways?

Hello, I have a Leica Q2 and I really liked the video and the photos. I have a question: Were the photographs taken without clipping, directly with the 28mm? I have taken some photos of people with the 28mm and they have come out somewhat deformed, that's why the question is, Thank you. greetings from Spain

Beautiful shots all of them, both at the skate park and in the woods, thank you for sharing, Octavian. Were you using autofocus or manual focus? Or both? How did you find the AF speed and accuracy and if you used manual focus, how is it implemented in the viewfinder and in the rear screen? Also, it would be nice if, when showing the photos, you also showed the basic settings (f-stop, shutter speed and ISO). I do suspect that you were shooting a lot wide open at, or near f 1.7, most Leica Q/Q2 users tend to do that, as the images look incredible even wide open. Merci beaucoup!

I just got my Q2 a month ago and you definitely are doing it justice! The skatepark images are hard to beat with that lighting and the variety of poses, but the woods images have a very nice muted tonality that's also nice. Well done!
