This audio is driving me absolutely insane. Why is dubbed by some monotone dude who didnt even attempt to read from a script or sync with original audio.

So, my right side panel does not seem to have HSL or Split tone. Am I missing something? Anyone have any input?

wouldn't making the rgb tone curves roughly the same just net you the same if you move the luminance curve? They all effectively cancel each other out

As a note, in LRc 14.4: HSL = Color Mixer & Split Toning = Color Grading

I dont comment on a lot of videos but i just want to say thank you for making such an incredible and easy to follow video about this. Ive done Astrophotography for a coupke years now and i can edit the heck out of photos of space any day that ends with y. Recently i decided to finally start storm chasing and getting into some daytime/storm photography and ho boy its an entire different skill set. You think its just photos nught, day, portrait, landscape, storm, astrophotography how different can they be and some things are the same but editing them is so dang different! Ive actually only used Lightroom once for cleaning up some photos of the moon a few gears ago. Everything else I've processed in Siril or APP. So i get home from my two weeks plains trip with over 10,000 photos to go through and then start picking out the favorites to edit import them into Lightroom and realized i have NO idea how to use it. This video was perfect. No unnecessary stuff just straight up explaining the tools, the uses, what order. Absolutely brilliant and i can't thank you enough for making it!

All in all, you've made a great video, I've liked it. I do however have some problems as a total beginner. As someone who has never corrected photos before I am not sure how to white balance just by looking at a photo and I think that's a pretty important part of the process. I do know there's auto white balance but you have mentioned yourself that it may not work as good as if you've done it yourself. I am probably repeating myself at this point but then again.. I do have a sense for over exposed photos, but there are so many variations you can change! Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows etc… As a beginner I really don't know how well balanced picture should be looking with these settings. I'm not even gonna get into the curves part. Why do you have to do an "S" shape. I understand that you have to balance highs and lows but going trough all the settings, my photo came out super oversaturated and it looked horrible even when trying to go back to adjust the different color spaces (RGB). Last, HSL; I haven't the slightest fucking clue how I should adjust the different colors and you also haven't mentioned the 3 different tabs here – Hue, Saturation, Luminance. You've skipped it completely by saying you've adjust it already. So at this point I've just started to adjust everything only a tiny bit to my liking but then again, I don't know what I am doing in reality. I do understand that this is a 17 minute "Masterclass" and there's only so much information you can put in such a short video but you've skipped some major parts and explained a lot of things very superficially. I'm not sure if you're going to see this, since this is a 4 year old video but these were my biggest concerns. I will keep looking into LCR since I want to learn how to propely edit photos, thanks for the video!
