Purchased the retouching course and am new to Photoshop and portrait editing. I know this was a few years ago not sure if things have changed inside of the program in PS 2023. having issue saying "The command “Select” is not currently available." hey bro is this the best sequence of processing for image quality? like start on Lightroom then send it to photoshop? i normally do all in photoshop at 16bit opening the raw as smart object i select the filters on camera rawbut cuz i like doing mask and layers of curves im quiker on photoshop . but the quastion is would you lose any image quality going back and forward ?
Lightroom and photoshop are all you need. Luminar, portrait pro, and all the others are just fodder.
What’s the difference between how you use blur and painting on the blur on light room? Isn’t that just adding a step to go to photo shop? I do the same thing just all in light room painting the skin smoother essentially

this is an old video, 4.2 pounds is not ultralight… and you can tell from the video lightroom started to lag when you where messing around with the adjustments, bad laptop.

What are your export settings for social media? When I export and post on social media, it always comes out low quality. (I am fully aware of IG compressing the photo.) But when I look at your photos and other photographer's photos on IG, they came out crispy and sharp! I export to JPG using the new Lightroom on the best quality. Anything I am missing? Any help is appreciated.

Big fan of your channel. I asked this before, and it was a serious question. Why do people edit their photos and change the colors? I truly don't get it. I remember seeing your great photos from Turks and Caicos, but your original unedited photos looked great. I didn't understand why you changed the water color. I see all the YouTube photographers essentially changing the colors in their photos, but I don't get it.
