Anyone organizing small tight photo tours of Cuba? I always dreamed of doing this but need a guide and a package..
love Ira – such a great energy! Best wishes and congratulations to Ira and all those involved with him in this!
travelled here for work a few years back…was there to film a tv show but took my R5 with me…have some great stuff.
With the money you spend in Cuba, the regime brutalizes my people. Did you ask if there are any children incarcerated for screaming that they are hungry and want freedom? Children, under 17 years of age. 65 years with the same dictatorial family in power; that's why this country (where I arrived in 1960 and served in its Army for 6 years as a volunteer (Viet Nam days)) is collapsing as the world power it once was.
@BandH One question: the colors of Cuba or the Real Colors of Cuba?
For all those who said "awesome" remember beautiful country (my country), beautiful people, but a very sad life under a horrible dictatorship.
I hope your fabulous cameras capture the real colors, a recommendation: those cameras can capture how a cuban can live with 12 dollars a month?
And for those who say that this is not a political channel, I hope they understand that not capturing the real colors under a dictatorship makes many who comment on this channel think that those colors are the reality of the sadness of living in Cuba for a Cuban.
Do you wonder why he can talk like that? I speak from what I lived, I don't have to wait for anyone to tell me.
I have a proposal: when you go to Viñales, Ira said his going to visit his friends, I will give him the address of my family that lives there, to take him a couple of miles further to where the real colors of Cuba live.
Excellent video on photo-documentary portraits of Cuba and its people, thank you B&H for publishing it, I give you 5 stars !!!
Sad to see all those registered dropping dollars in a country with such rich soil that can produce so much food but not consume it because 80% of the products belong to the government, to export for dollars, dollars that the people will never see. You are going to see whatever the government wants you to see and hear whatever the government wants you to hear. It's a Stalin bred dictatorship as repressive as North Korea. Make sure to take colorful photographs of the dilapidated buildings in Habana Vieja and try to make art out of the failures of the Revolution and the suffering of those not working for the government.
My beautiful people of Cuba, an island trapped for more than half a century in extreme poverty under the most murderous dictatorship in modern history, without freedom and without human rights, that's how my people live, without being able to say what they feel inside, it's a pity they didn't touch really the sadness that his eyes reflect but that is clearly shown in them. Freedom for Cuba and no more dictatorships in the world.
What a heart warming introduction! Can’t wait to see the next episodes!
