In this video I share how you can create dramatic portraits using only one Speedlight and a cheap light modifier.
In my experience you can actually achieve some amazingly great Off Camera flash images with very little gear.
Many times we need more than just one light, but sometimes one light is enough. In this video we go back to basics and create some great images with just one cheap Godox V860ii / Flashpoint Zoom R2 flash light and a 34 inch softbox!

Hello Eustace would you be able to do a video for color grading and explain for me please
New fan, student, and subscriber!!!
Hi Eustace, you're missing out on one fantastic feature in the Godox X1 Pro trigger, which everyone seems to ignore. There is a feature which helps you get the exposure right on your first shot, without guessing and adjusting several times until it's right.
TTL metering works just like normal exposure metering, in that the background can fool the camera meter. So zooming in or out can completely change the TTL flash output (inconsistent exposures). So here is the way to get it perfect, first time, every time:
1. Put the flash in TTL mode.
2. Zoom in or move closer to fill the frame with your subject.
3. Take a shot and the exposure should be great because the camera only sees the subject and is not influenced by the background.
4. Press and hold the TCM button for approx 2 secs and the flash switches to Manual mode, locking in the correct power it just fired at.
You're now locked in to a perfect exposure and can zoom in and out and reframe without the exposure changing (as it would in TTL mode). Repeat the above steps each time you move your model into a different light/location.
TCM stands for "TTL Convert to Manual"
If the model is wearing white/very light or black/very dark clothing, you can get her to hold a grey card or something of average reflectance and fill the frame with that before firing the flash at step 3.

Hi Eustace, would you be able to do an indepth tutorial on the X pro trigger. I have never been able to adjust it from the camera side. Only from the light. It is supposed to be remote. How to set it up would be great thanks.
I have learnt a lot from u… Keep it up bro…… Greetings from Nigeria
Meanwhile am using a Canon 1300d but I don't know why I produce really soft pix even after setting the sharpness to max
