Uh… Cropping the image to 500px x 500px with 50px/in makes my image 25000×25000
I was at new guide layout already but when I set 50 rows and 50 columns it says too many rows and columns and i cannot press OK. Anyone?

This is not 8-bit, it's pretty far from being 8-bit in fact. It's more like 16-bit.
