So glad that this show is back! Where, how and when can you submit a picture for the next show? Where can you see the new theme?

SOOOOOO CLOSE! My photo was after the skeleton towards the end and then after that you started working backwards and almost made it back to my photo 😂. Now I have to find a landscape worthy of your show 🤔.

I have a question on the presets, I bought around Christmas. Is there a reason why when I apply the preset, and shoot with a nikon z7 and a sony ARIV, they show up differently than I see on the screen on my computer than when I send them to Walgreens to print? They look great on my computer, but the color is never right when I send them to print?

I haven't seen a message about this critique show for ever. I remember when you got Pixel. I always watched in the past, so I'm glad you brought it back! Great opportunity to learn from two of the best.

Seems like from a lot of these uploads that your server either crushes the quality or your submitters are not good photographers.

The first photo was made with a Nikon D70 and kit lens. I started out with one way back when I was a student.

It shows that you don’t need a bag full of expensive gear to take a great picture.

I've always loved these shows so I'm so glad you've brought it back. I think YouTube photography is so heavily focused on gear, and not focused enough on actually helping people to get better at the art of photography. The tips you give do genuinely help people to get better.

It's also SO important that you show the meta data of the gear which was used to take each image, because it perfectly illustrates that you do not need the latest greatest equipment to capture and create beautiful photos and generally love the process. Many of the images are captured with 'budget' or old gear and that makes me happy!

I've submitted a few times and never even had a photo come up on screen. What am I doing wrong? I'm thinking that people who submit within 24 hours of the show starts are punished because they're not among the first ones that get reviewed, nor are they reimported during the livestream. So I guess I'm going to have to sneak one in during my thurs afternoon meeting…

Great episode! Not an AI feature, but it’d be great to seamlessly have the JPGs being stored on my iPhone without having to select them from the camera to transfer them. That way you could smoothly choose your favorite and discard the rest. Hopefully soon!

I guess my photo was too novice to be critiqued looking at all others that were chosen. I give up submitting.

/ I got viewed [23.20ish]… I hope you sleep easy though Chelsea, my friend is very nice really. I particulalrly liked the way my vampire followed a sweet girl in a nice flowery environment… Chuffed to be picked though, I have been watching you guys since my inlaws bought me one of your books for my birthday in 2015 (and my birthday is actually on Halloween!!!) when photography was really taking a hold as a serious hobby for me.
P.S. Great to see the return of the live shows.

I have learned so much from you two from your Stunning book and your videos. I watched today’s (January 25 2024) live show and I really enjoyed it. Several images I thought “needs cropping” and on those three images you said the same thing. I’m not too old to learn. Chelsea playing with colour grading was annoying UNTIL I studied what she did. While I might disagree with some of her choices, what dawned on me was that she was teaching me to experiment. I’ve had to help some friends understand that a photograph is not necessarily a depiction of what I saw, but it’s an image that can tell a story or evoke an emotion. Chelsea showed me today that I can get out of my self-imposed notions and play around, and perhaps make the image better. Thank you, both!
