In this video I’ll be taking you behind the scenes as I shoot my self-portrait at home. The purpose of this self portrait is to update the ‘About’ page on my website, so I want it to have an element of professionalism while depicting me at a creative.
To get this result I kept the photoshoot simple, using natural light, incorporating a lighting stand and black sheet as a backdrop and went with a black and white edit.
I shoot all images on the Canon 5dIV with L-series 24 70 f2.8 lens.

Very informative and very useful. You have produced some very professional looking shots that I think will inspirer others to emulate, thank you.
However, the only negative area of the video is the eardrum splitting music, especially with earbuds in. You are not alone in this area YouTube is rife with it unfortunately.
