Portrait photography software on smartphones is getting better year after year. With the addition of features such as the LiDAR sensor on iPhones, the cameras are able to somewhat replicate professional cameras in terms of depth of field. The question is, is the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro good enough to compete with a professional camera, the Canon EOS R5? Will smartphones replace cameras in the next few years? π€ What is your opinion? And if you like this video, show Olivera some love in the comments! β€
Very honest review. The smartphone cameras are really catching up with pro cameras. If only they can solve the tiny lenses to match pro lenses. That would be game changing.
Only samsung β€
Why do you have a Sony camera in the thumbnail when you're comparing it with Canon? Brand value is it ?π
I love ur presentation and lovely pictures than my galaxy s23 ultra here π₯²
Samsung details are justπ₯Άπππ₯
Samsung is just incredible ππ
The iPhone looks worst in most comparisons. Too cold, oversharpened and often lacking contrast, especially at low light.
Which camera or phone u use for face cam in Vedio?
Stupid comparison!
Why is there still a big Market for pro cameras and why use photographers still this expensive gear – cause if you know how to use cameras and also how to prework, you get still a complete different Level of quality…most people doesnt now to handle this stuff…
Thank you for sharing π
Yess Samsung is the best
The best comparison ever !
Dont use the portrait mode on phones. Artificial blurring will never be like a physical lens with changeable aperture.
Use instead the regular camera / pro mode, There will be some blur and the focus will be much more accurate.
S23 king π
After watching 100s of camera comparison videos between iPhone and S23 Ultra, I would say I finally reached the best comparison video made so far!!
Thanks a lot for your efforts and details you provided. I'm finally able to decide what I need to choose. Thanks!
wow as expected the Canon did excellent job. But these both phones are awesome! They do something we could never believe in the past!
An ordinary person does not need a camera for $4,000, but a smartphone with a not much worse camera, for only ~$1,500, is a better choice, especially since it is compact, always with you. And also has more functionality

I phone is Father of all devices.
Nice video. except the canons aperture has a huge effect where as the iphone an galaxy's are fixed. do the same test and set the canons F-stop to the same as the phones!!!!
Amazing what phones can do now. Imagine in 10 years.
What's her channel?
Can you do this comparison with landscape photography and sunset pictures as well? It's so interesting ππππ
Your face and hair would look good with even the shittiest camera I guess π π
