With such a wide angle you should shoot model straight, otherwise too much disproportions, due to distortions. It's unnatural.

Hello and thank you very much for this Video and these beautiful Photos! I thought there would be more deformations for Portraits at 24 mm, but obviously it seems to me that there are none or very few, no ??? I have a Canon RP and the Canon RF 50 f1.8 stm for Portraits, and I'm thinking of buying the new Canon RF 24 mm f1.8 Macro stm for Landscapes, but then I might be able to do Portraits with it this 24 mm also what do you think ?
Thank you in advance for your answers,
    Sincerely,
    Philgood…

Low angle seems to be the best angle imo. Shots are fire and model was dope AF.

its a good video but for showing how it looks like shooting with a 24mm you should use more perspectives.. there are more pictures from down than from standing… im not so often on knees so i dont know how a 24mm looks while standing .. im comparison my 28mm lens with a 24mm because i dont know if i should switch or not

Ok.. I’m impressed. Not by the lens, but by the pure talent of the model and photographer. Those shots were dope af!!! You guys just clearly know what you’re doing. Proving that it’s not the equipment but the skill of the user that makes things happen.. Every other video I watched on this subject was useless. Wack ass photographers taking wack ass shots!!! You guys showed me “how” to take great pics with a 24mm lens. Which is what this video should be titled. Pat yourselves on the back. Awesome job 😎

You took only half of all performance of 24mm f1.4 lens!!! It can help you create a lot of beautiful close-up portrait photos with blurred background and low level distortion. if you properly compose the subject.

Quick question, the link in the description box for the 24 takes me to a 16-35mm. So did you use the 24mm or the 16-35mm? Just want to make sure I purchase the right lens!

Ps. your content is so stunning, always inspiring and it’s nice to see other people who make quoting The Office and Parks and Rec a lifestyle 😂

With the distortion for close up facial portraits, can it be fixed by shooting in crop with the a7iii?

If we are talking about smartphones I heard that a wide angle lens is between 25mm to 35mm…is this correct? And anything lower than 25mm is considered "ultrawide"? Please advice. thanks.
