Yeah threads is owned by a trillion dollar company and their 2007 perms loop videos with no controls or landscape mode sucks, bad. You can’t see anything in these tiny squares on threads and it just goes on and on compressed to death to save their server space. Hell yall probably compress too at YouTube

very good concern, i think about this too. but there is a problem if we have only 1080P maximum video so if we "cut" or convert video to potrait, it will slightly decrease the resolution.
so i suggest we should take a video in landscape "in 4k", so we can get a landscape and potrait in the same time (dont to need to re-take a video to each format). am i correct?

portrait mode makes me angry
Nothing irritates me more than trying to view a video in portrait mode. Let’s get rid of those menacing pillars to the side. I’m hoping you’ve convinced your viewers this. Thanks

I use portrait for my vlogs it just feels better for filming
this is stupid advice. you can repurpose landscape into portrait exactly the same way as the other way around. the only difference is that with one way you loose data left/right and with the other way you loose data top/bottom.
