Hi Julia. Is that an ND filter or a Promist filter? I just got the A7II and feel a tiny bit overwhelmed with the Sony ecosystem. Been Canon too long.

Usless video… all cameras can take pictures..you could at least tell us some points you noticed or soemthing usfull about cameras
hey, may I ask how you got continous eye focus on the a7ii?
For best results I recommend Sony native lens.

I do have a question that maybe you might be able to help me with? I come from the Canon 5dm3 myself, used to shoot portraits and horses (plus my dogs). Was hoping to switch to mirrorless. I'm a bit concerned with the AF speed in the Sony A7. You mentioned some trouble in the other video… do you think with the AF settings optimised for Action, it can still follow objects when they move towards me? If that's too much for you to get into, don't feel obligated, but I would vastly appreciate it!! π

Oh man, that A7ii tho! It showcases your skills as a photographer soooo well, the quality looks straight out of a studio! Really good light-shadow control, really good tones in color, just wow !
The canon on the other hand… It holds back your potential a bit too much since the camera can't even perceive shadows that well, for that price I would never buy it.
If the canon price was 25% lower it could be a good amateur/instagramer level camera, but since it's so expensive, there's a clear winner!

During this quarantine I have probably watched all of your videos and I have to say that this model is my favorite. Her camera connection is really strong. What she emotes with her strong facial expressions is a perfect contrast to your soft style of shooting. When I shot full time, models like her were my favorite. I could shoot them until either my batteries died or I ran out of cards! Shooting a great portrait is like solving an equation and a great model is an important part of that equation, along with a great photographer of course! π
