Hey Julia, what are your settings for focus mode and focus area. I do own the 28 mm along with a sony a7riii but i find the photos of my little boy be a little unclear. I increased the shutter speed over 500 and it still do not meet my expectations. Thank you

Julie do you still use a 28 for portrait shoots? I’m trying to figure out if I should get the 28 for travel but still be able to use it for people too! I worry the 24mm might have too much distortion?
How are you recording the view finder while shooting?
Which one would you go for as an everyday carry? The samyang 35mm f2.8 or this 28mm F2? Kinda torn between the 2 lol

After years of shooting manual from the eyecup its so weird to see someone using autofocus with an lcd. Good video with an under rated focal length.

Why not just use a 50mm and stand back 1 step for those head shots you're doing?

The 28mm has become my favourite focal length. Only got it for the Sony System not to long ago but I have the Ricoh GRIII which is a 28mm and I have a 28mm for my Minolta X700 film camera.
Just picked up this lens! You inspired me to shoot portraits with it! 🙂
why would you take this if you have a 35 F1.8? its also light and sharper ???
