Trying to buy a preset but it won’t let me put my expiration date in😭😭😭😭
Regarding the comment that you made about the number of out of focus shots vs in focus. When these lenses were in operation, photographers just didn't work at the same level of sharpness and focus that we do now. If you look at Cartier Bresson, a significant amount of his best work is not sharp in the modern sense. Nobody looked at eyes to see if they were in focus. We're using these very much in our own way now.
This inspires me to use my 35mm Manual Lens I really Love how you always make a Video to show and Teach Us a Lot about Portrait photography😊
How do you record the camera screen?
Magnificent! ❤️
For me, manual focus has always been a thing for me; that’s mainly how I started taking photos a lot(mainly on film cameras). Manually focusing is great
Great work and inspired me to use vintage
im really curious if using a cheap manual lens from 7 artisans, and meike on the sony a7iii, wonder how it'll look
can you recommend a 4k camera for beginners good for both video and photo please? struggling to choose canon 90d or sony 6600,sony a7c
What's the lens brand for 55 mm??
Whats Is connected to your camera? The black box under with the cable …
That soap bubble bokeh is amazing. I've got the Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 and I love it so much.
Please stop cutting every models hands, it's so unprofessional
please try some vintage soviet lenses on the fuji please!
I really enjoyed this video with the vintage Pentax lenses. I assume these are Takumar lenses with the M42 screw mount rather than the later K mount lenses? I often use a Canon FD 50mm f1.8 lens with both my Canon 35mm SLRs and Panasonic M4/3 mirrorless cameras. I actually used it at an Alice Cooper concert this year in Adelaide that I received a media pass to (shooting from the photo pit.) That lens is probably 1980s vintage though I also use 1960s and 1970s lenses also. Some time back, I acquired a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens and I'm keen to put it through it's paces.
2:03 This shot is incredible
Sooo beautiful pictures
Are the unedited photos raw images ? Images look so pale before editing them.
hola Julia , que tal . podrias decirme cual de estos dos lente te gusto mas , yo tengo una camara amalogica pentax y quiero comparar un lente que este bien . gracias
😍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎉
Beautiful photos! You should try something with swirly bokeh lenses, like with the cheaper Helios 58mm f2 lens (44m-4) 🙂 I also have this lens and it is so much fun to use!
Beautiful shoot I love it❣️😍
Hey! Lovely photos! Cheers from Argentina! I use a Pentax lens, 55mm 1.8 and I get chromatic aberrations, its a bit old and hasn´t been well cared. I couldn´t see them in your pics, is it because of the lens? Maybe you could talk about them in some next vintage lens video.
Great idea to try some vintage glass. I can give you some ideas of other lenses that I really enjoy using even for payed jobs.
I also use the Techart Pro AF adapter when I do not have much time for manual focus or I am super tired to do it. It gives me eye AF with MF lenses :).
If I shoot manual focus I always use the viewfinder, the screen is so bad in terms of size and resolution and I find it hard to nail focus without magnifier activated. The EVF is much better!
Peaking – no 🙂 for video yes, but for stills I think that the peaking is not precise and often leads to missed shots.
HI JULIA, WHAT IS THE SOFTWARE THAT YOU HAVE USED TO IMPROVE THE PICTURE QUALITY & RESOLUTION,
Why dont you try or use a7r iii
Lovely photos, I love vintage lenses, I use my two Helios 58mm f2 lenses one 44-2 and the other 44-7 and I also use my Canon FDn 50 1.4 and Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8 sometimes 😊
Please do a camera review of new pixel 4a
Always loved your behind the scenes videos! You always work so precisely and has helped me get better at portraits! 🙌
I don’t have a camera because my parents can’t afford to buy me one,but your videos make me feel like I have one🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
lol dude the pentax wide open seems so sharp
Hey everyone.. 🤩
hey julia! i was wondering if you would recommend the nikon Z7 or sony A6400
did the lens fit that mount?? or you need to buy something to make it fit?
I always have so much trouble focusing with vintage glass. Even with peaking, it doesn't always seem to get it right. I guess i just need to practice more! Any tips on what you think helps?
What is that unit fitted externally to the bottom of your Sony camera?
I also use Sony cameras and manual focus lenses. Focus peaking can be extremely distracting, especially when you have fine detail like trees in the composition and the entire frame lights up! I agree that in moving portraiture like you shoot, magnification is also of very little use. However, I find that in these situations a high resolution EVF like the one found in the A7r4 makes all the difference to focus accuracy. The EVF is so clear that I hardly ever need to use peaking at all, if ever.
My recommendation would be to use as high resolution EVF as possible when manual focusing without peaking or magnification. I do not need the 61mp of the A7r4 but with my collection of manual focus vintage and M mount Voigtlander lenses, I bought it for the EVF only.
Yet another incredibly creative model! Loved everything about the shoot
Great video as usual 👍🏻 Would you please review the A7s iii? Is its 12mp too low for wedding photography? I'm really intrigued by its low light capabilities as I don't like using any artificial lighting.
Please tell me how to install this lightroom presets?
Very cool! I have all my old Pentax lenses but don't know I know use them. What adaptor did you use and where did you get it?
Amazing video as always!!! Need to shoot more with my vintage lenses 😍 love your presets 😍 I only have the app presets need to get the ones for desktop aswell 🙌🏾
Hey Julia love you so much, why dint you increase ISO in some images and do your light room video editing tutorial and please put an video of your camera settings. apart from that I love your smile way of speech and all ,your the best💜💜Love you so much😍😍
I have the same vintage lens and If I try to shoot like you, my photos tend to be out of focus if I don't use the magnifier (Wich slows me down, even if I have it setted in the left "joystick" button in my a7II). But I think it's a good exercise for those who are learning photography to get used to manual focus
Always great videos 🙂 Can I ask how do you record the screen of your camera while shooting? Thanks😊
Has any one ever say you look like Keira Knightley ?
