My R7 won’t track/change focus at all… I have it at servo, full area AF, people and eye detection.
– I can even see the square on my eyes, it just doesn’t focus during the intervals 👎 only has focus where it starts.
What am I doing wrong?

Cant believe they did not add interval photos for Canon R50. All older cheaper sony models had that years. I have R8 it has it but was suprised that R50 which has EVF and is kinda photocentric camera does not have that. Only 1080 videotimelapse mode.
Hi everyone, this was a really great video, and I don't know if I am doing anything wrong, but I already tried all of those settings and my camera still does not want to focus. I have a Sony zve10, and for some reason when I do all of those settings it still doesn't focus on me, I have noticed also that it does not allow me to put Continous Auto Focus at all. Any help would be appreciated!

20secs. DO you really have to lock the focus? I have a Fujifilm Xt30 and the focus seems to stay still when I push to start the timer to take the picture.

Im trying to take a mockup photo of me wearing a tshirt, using canon eos r10z what settings would u use to do this alongside the interval and servo? I keep having things be out of focus from any slight mivement. Using a 50mm lens
How does this work indoors? I don't have enough light and want to use the intervalometer with a speed light on the camera. I want to do about 5 shots of me in a room doing different things.
I don't get it, I set the interval, like 10 shots every seconds, to try, I see the timer on the screen, I move a big my camera each second, but at the end I have only one photo, the first one. What is wrong? (And thank you, great explanation).

Sony cameras do not allow continuous shooting while interval shooting is active is there any other way to achive pleasant results?

thanks a lot!! im just wondering why a professional camera with face recognition is unable to focus just right BEFORE the actual shot. I dont understand what the technical problem is. I just want to press the shutter, go to my spot, wait for 10 seconds and then the camera can just activate the focus right before shooting the picture. Do you know why that's not possible?

My camera wasn't focusing between every shot (EOS R8) despite following your instructions. I then realised that I had 'Preview AF' turned off, so it would only initiate focus when I held down my focus button (which was AF-on)
Turning it on solved the problem. FYI to Other canon users!
