I remember the Hassselblads back in the 90's when they were medium format film cameras- never had one but they had THE reputation for being the Mercedes of cameras. (I had a Mamiya) These shots are SO sharp, crisp, clear and lovely- the resolution is amazing. Great job- it truly is not just the camera, but the person behind it!
The detail is amazing, also interesting is the different colour science compared to your canon photos. These have a lighter feel
I think Capture One supports the Phase One MF cameras
Great Video! Can't wait to try this camera some day!
If you want expensive and exclusive look at the Leica M9-P with 50mm f0.95 White Edition only 50 units world wide, makes the Hasselblad priced like a Nikon!
Phocus is Hasselblads own RAW converter, try it…
Better than LR
Export it as a Tiff to PS orre LR after “dark room work” in Phocus
I think the pictures on the canon look better I feel like the extreme resolution isn’t that pleasing
The detail in those files is insane! Great shots!
Amazing Work♥♥
What i love about your photos… you didn’t get overboard with editing… and just made subtle changes
Gorgeousness at its finest ❤❤❤
Why these days cameras dont have internal storage? easy! cause if u accidentally drop your camera, u r done hahahaha…these kinda of camera are made for studio uses or on a tripod actually
R5 mark II
Like how you add light to the face but keep the hair not over exposed. The contrast between the backlight hair and her face are very well balanced. Many would add a little fill light to counter the sunlight.
IRENE keep her style so the possible main difference is the 100 MP… but I feel maybe because is her first experience with HB I didn't see o feel she use the real potential of this camera and the color profile of HB. Im not saying her work is not great plsss, Im just saying maybe she needs to experiment a little more with the camera. any way congrats and as always great work.
Wonderful images and direction, Irene. These files are suuper impressive
Wow, a $13000 gift!!! Nice friends you have Irene. Nice portraits as usual.
Yea if they gifted it to you then your review is not honest I don't believe.
Lol correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure Capture One doesn't support Hassleblad because Capture One and the Medium Format Camera company Phase One are owned by the same parent company and is Hasselblad's main Competitor in the Medium Format Market.
A detail, the X2D autofocus is far better than the X1D or X1D ii and the same goes for the new V lenses (Like the 90mm Irene is using) vs beauties like the 80mm 1.9 that will struggle more often. The camera does not track so for something artistic like most of Rudnyk's work it will work if neither she nor the model moves. We can see in the video that she is moving back and forth as she is pressing the shutter, the camera does not track and it stays on the initial position. That is unexpected for any camera sold in the last 20 years, so we can't blame Irene for that.
Amusing seeing someone using x2d as if it's a 35mm SONY or Canon. Not saying the photos are bad.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Hasselblad. Well done as usual.
I have noticed an interesting trend with YouTube photographers moving to or using the Hasselblad system. I do want to get into the system myself, but the price of admission to the Hasselblad Club is just too much for most photographers.
Keep up the great work!
Independente da câmera, a Irene sempre será incrível em seu trabalho. 🤩
I don't think the photographer is very good to be honest. puts her model in too many uncomfortable positions. This is.a case of great equipment vs a good photographer
Amazing!
FF equivalent?
Thank you for sharing your process of the photoshoot. I learned so much! I am trying to do my daughter's senior portraits this year, myself, so I need to learn all I can. You do beautiful work!
Wow very nice camera!! Injoy ❤
Because of the leaf shutter the camera needs to close the shutter before an exposure and also lacks af-c both contribute to af performance problems resulting in a lower keeper rate when shooting wide open. Hasselblad files are also unneseccary large and in the long run a build in ssd has far more disadvantages, just think of drive failures…. Cf express is already faster too
Peter Coulson shoots with Hasselblad cameras and tethers with Capture One. Are you sure it's not possible? 🤔
Watching you working was a masterclass, I watched the video out of curiosity about the type of photos you would take with the new camera, but as someone else said, your work is incredible with any camera… I learned a lot watching you work… thanks for this video!
The focus problem isn't you, it's the camera.
Irene are you from Calgary?! i saw you shooting at princess island!
Congratulations, because you are considered by Hasselblad such an excellent photographer you got such a gift. Otherwise they wouldn't bother. That on itself is a great personal accomplishment and honor.
Medium format, full frame, aps-c, micro 4/3😂 you are a wonderful photographer 🙏📷🖤
Beautiful photos
Irene and her fairy girls/forest beauties are always my favorite 😍 the indication classic European romantic fantasy ❤
Beautiful work ❤ and great video
The files that come out of this camera are insane!😮
Love the Canon RF 85mm 1.2 look more
Irene, please make a video for your powerful pc..
Loved watching this and seeing how Hasselblad is getting in the game and working with creators and photographers that make outstanding work. I hope that this helps bridge the gap between high end medium format cameras and professional photographers and consumer cameras.
Your work is truly beautiful and you are adding much value to a brand such as Hasselblad, Irene.
Best regards from Houston!
Gorgeous as usual. Your talent has no bounds and your selection of models is unsurpassed. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your new camera too.
Can you share files raw?
i'm waiting to compare with fuji gfx100s ii
Amazing work! Anyone knows what the FF equivalent would be for this setup?
Such an incredible work for one more time. I love it. Bravo to you and the model
What a shutter-sound (!)
