Really a great video for all photographers but especially for those how haven't purchased lighting equipment yet. The tip I like best is using a background that is also in the shade or that has the same exposure value as the face. Nice video.

Don't be afraid to experiment and take bad photo's. That's the best advice I've ever heard anyone give on photography. You learn be your mistakes, at least we should shouldn't we?

That's a nice video. However neither symmetry, nor leading lines, are TECHNIQUES – which the title says the video is about. I'm disappointed, I came for some unique techniques you're using and found basic composition rules, with an ad for luminar software.
so… you use luminar AI to edit… not LR? or C1?

Just 'say no' to Luminar. It will cheapen your images. 4:50 up-lighting is generally unattractive, no matter how much editing you use. Hard light isn't 'tough.' Besides, you were mostly in the shade.

Great recommendation on using the PROPER FOCAL LENGTH in order to COMPRESS leading lines. I keep forgetting that and will try not to next time I'm shooting! Cheers.
