You should have stopped after you whitened the eyes. From there on in it was over-cooked and looked unrealistic.
Which Photoshop are you using and version, please? Is this Lightroom, CS5, PSE?

Hello, I am using photoshop cc 2017. after adjusting the darkness, I went to "hard light", but the image stayed blk/white. No color came back.
