Vivo ultra VS pro please 🙏
The hardware on the vivo is great, but i dont like the colour science and find the pictures too bright honesly. Pictures have that smartphone, over processed look with may too much dynamique range.
It's crazy how much better the Sony is, literally shows that better hardware will always give the best results. Your color grading is on point tho
We can see that even the best smartphone camera is still quite weak when it comes to dynamic range. That's the biggest difference between cameras and smartphone cameras.
Thank you for this video but there is plenty of questions remaining, especially since you are mentioning that it's close to a professionnal cam while you actually don't test the professionnal capacities >
does it support fast hard drive (as samsung doesn't) – i can't plug and get more than 35Mo, with wifi 80Mo. That's a pretty important critera for professionnal use while traveling
How does it behave in RAW? Professionnal phone shooter shoot in raw and use lightroom still now
How does it behave in motioncam? As it's even higher quality than log
What's the high resolution result ? As the zoom probably totally destroy the Sony – even without the lens extension which seems amazing
For your information : you can add a grip, and they even sell an official grip with the photographer kit
Dear mosen If you want sell you vivo let me know
But they are almost same price if you get the camera used
Vivo claims another DSLR victim
VIVO ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Just the comparison i need! Thanks! I was eyeing on X200 Ultra, wondering can it be used as my daily/ street photography camera when I'm travelling without my Sony A6700 and lenses. Then, Sony is announcing the new xperia 1 VII tomorrow, i hold my purchase on X200 Ultra. Wanna know what's the new xperia has to offer, i know it's expensive maybe usd1300.
How much?
I repeat :
This is CRAZY ! ! !
So just how good is this
X 200 ULTRA .
And is it the best camera phone on earth 🌎 at present
?
Okay so this is crazy ! ! !
That vivo is so good
I actually guessed wrong at the outset ! ! !
Crazy ! ! !
I would give props to Xiaomi for making m43 format modular on a concept smartphone. That being said, if you need a "professional" grade camera that can take photos, a DSLR or cheap Sony A6100/A6400 would give you good results.
Thanks!
Let's not forget that Vivo also made a dedicated photography kit for this beast with a telephoto zoom extender
Difference will be obvious at the large display. That's why I bought a good mirrorless camera with several lenses in addition to my vivo x200 pro
The comparisons have such a different FOV despite both stating to be 35mm. It looks like the Sony is cropped in while the Vivo is wider angle. I'd be interested to see a comparison where the Vivo is cropped to the same FOV as the Sony.
And there is a verdict – Vivo looks still bad comparing to true camera.
yeah, yeah, I bought myself an iPhone 16 Promax, I thought that phones are really on par with cameras, but in the end the phone performs the functions of a phone and is mostly in my pocket, and I shoot with a Sony camera
It was obvious from the first few seconds if u know what to look for
Awesome video and congratulations to both of you for making this comparison beautiful and fun!
Not much to say. For casual recording, use phones. For professionals, cinematic-looking photography enthusiasts, it's a different story.
With that size of the sensor, this is what you can achieve by far. It relies on the image processing power of the phone. For telescope photos (about 125mm+), they literally use AI to generate missing information in the picture. Even at 18-35-80mm, they still apply computing to the photos. Sometimes, it can be too far, resulting in a very strong taste of AI-enhanced images. To give a sharp and crisp look to a photo, they not only try to generate the missing information but also adjust the contrast and brightness. This can sometimes be the result of inaccurate pixels generated by the software.
6:40 the is not almost the same sensor, it's literally the same sensor. and it's the largest by the and it's not even close
Camera is still better but its cost against its quality advantage can't be justified anymore for the average user and the amateur photographer. Its not going to be long that cameras will be fully integrated to the phones with some exta accessories…
Bro vivo x200 ultra not even p60 pro level 😂
Thanks, your video was very educative but I would love to know between your camera Sony fx30 and your vivo x200 ultra which one gave the real colour of your wife jacket and it's texture?
Should have included a photography kit also to compare 200mm also between these two
vivo is over colour
I think fx30 is equivalent to 50mm because of crop factor 1.5 compared to vivo. While vivo has full frame equivalent of 35mm lens that why there is difference in field of view you should have used 50mm on sony to match fov
Interesting comparison.
Vai ae phoner dam kt
using crop sensor is not going to help this comparison, you should have used full frame all for video too.
Oppo find x8 ultra VS vivo x200 ultra … Please 🥺
Spoiler: of course it can't keep up but it's putting up a great fight. I really wish for Vivo to fix up their software and go for Samsung's jugular. Samsung has really stopped trying lately.
0:22 It's obvious if you know what you have to look for.
In B are all single strains of hair visible, the left hand is physically out of focus. So it's the Sony camera. 😉 But it is in no way "better", it's different!
Sample A is shot with the phone. Some centimeters of a few strains of hair are cut off by the artificial bokeh. You see it in full-pixel magnification, if you're pixel-peeping and following many strains of hair. Her left hand is focused, although physically out of the depth of field. I like this photo even more as the shadow over her right eye isn't that hard/dark, it has an artificial higher dynamic range (what I like) and more vibrant colors in a pleasing color temperature (what I also like).
So I'd prefer the phone over the much more expensive equipment in this situation.
0:27 B Typical Sony: bad low-light dynamics in the sculptures, large areas of black shadows without any content.
A Low-light dynamics pleasantly corrected by Vivo, I like this one!
1:46 The only "advantage" of the big and expensive Sony lenses are in the resolution of her hair and some skin details in the forehead. The bokeh of Sony is good in the background, but the tip of her nose starts to leave the depth of field and lacks sharpness. Her eyes have too dark shadows (typical Sony) and the entire scene is unnaturally cold.
Vivo is "illuminating" her eyes in processing and gives the entire scene a very pleasing color scheme. I prefer Vivo.
The time for compact or system cameras up to € 800.- is finally over.
The cellphone manufacturers can compensate so much in automatic post-processing that it takes far, far over € 1,000.- to compete against flagship phones. They rise the bar higher every year, while the manufacturers of classical cameras gave up completely regarding software. Their train has left the station long time ago. 🤷♂️
Is that a crip sensor? Cus ut looks like ur sbout 50% the focal length on the sony
Excellent
Please compare the Vivo with the pixel 9
Only one of you got strawberry cake. :/
2:50 crazy that's natural depth of field
I think you would love photography kit for Vivo
