They are good but I think instead of using a external light I think external flash works well in this situations, try with any godex flashes that suits your camera.

Enjoyed the video…..even with an 85/1.2 lens I see that the low light challenges are real. Maybe next time you could try shooting at dusk just before it gets dark and then you can go to apertures up to 2.8 or 3.2 to achieve decent focusing on all subjects I am thinking. Thanks for the light-softening hack. I am mostly into still life and use an LED torch…and I put a doubled layered thin PU sheet on the light with a rubber band for light painting projects..sometimes a frosted shot glass as a lid on the torch. Sorry for the long reply…..I really like videos that discuss the process more than the end result images; that's real learning. Good luck with your work, and the channel :))
