For digital monochrome I kind of „discovered“ the M8.2 … marvelous outcomes:-) imho

Great to see the 246, Paul! That 35 Lux pairing will do wonders with the sensor. Look to see the output.

It's not the Leica, it's just that Paul has a great eye for subject and composition. For the average photographer there are dozens of cameras and lenses of more advance technology and ergonomics which would facilitate them to take good pictures.

No idea why folks hate on Leica. Probably the same folks who spit their dummy out cos a camera isnt Full Frame… or only takes monochrome. Just got my GR4 monochrome and now I understand why I have been losing interest in photography: I love monochrome. Yeah BnW FTW.

All being well I hope to have a Q3 monochrom later this year.

Interesting, I tried a SL and hated the menu system hence stuck with my Canon R5, I love my Q2 especially since I have 3 profiles dialed in and easy to swap between them. I also have a GR3 that is set to monochrome all the time for its soft focus

I've not had many issues with SD cards, 2 I think became corrupted in 12 years which isn't bad and I lost a small percentage of the photos on each. I lost a card too but that's my fault 😁

I did have an issue with the SL3-S last week (not had the camera long, so hopefully it's just a one off) where it crashed and I lost a burst of photos shooting sports. It was a slower SD card so maybe it just wasn't quick enough.

I wouldn't swap cards between different camera brands, and on the rare occasion I do I always format in the camera.

    Another equipment masturbator.
Leica is for monochrome, Sinar is for still life, Hasselblad is for this, Nikon is for that…
Photography is not about eq. Eq is not the medium conveying "you" in a photograph. Eq is the tool and if u suck at using the tool, whatever tool u have, u will end up blabbering only about the eq. As seen in the vid.
Did i watch the vid? Of course not. The caption strictly told me to save my time for something better.

One thing we often do as Pro's is shoot on digital Leica – but print and re-photograph on film so it can go through a wet process

Love the video Paul. Any Leica camera is one to aspire to in my opinion. The Steinway of cameras. Nuff Said!.

To be honest, I don’t think you should need to explain yourself to anyone. Your work is inspiring and personally. I would always tell people to buy whatever camera makes them feel good, and motivates them to get out there and take photos. Keep up the good work.

As an individual who is totally colorblind, I'm always fascinated about people who shoot in black and white photography cuz it's it's pretty much how I see things and I'm kind of dabbling in taking pictures but nothing with a fancy camera, just what I got in hand

If you lay off of live view the 246 will easily last 1000+ shots. I shoot it just like film.

Very nice shots, love the girl laying on the bed in particular but man, can you talk like 2 grannies at tea party stating the obvious. Please more of those nice shots and next time I will turn the sound off. 😅😅😅
    Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉

So many great photos. But I'm particularly in love with the photo at 4:29

I have both the Q2 and the Q2 Monochrom. The Q2 is my workhorse for taking cityscape photos of the community where I live that are for a website I work on. But the Q2 Monochrom is for me … just taking photos for the joy of taking photos.
